**I am NOT saying this smells like Black Orchid, but if you like fragrances like Black Orchid, you will love Iris Glacé.**
Before I got my hands on it, I thought it would smell very powdery and perhaps vintage because of the iris, orris, and violet. I was completely wrong!
Iris Glacé is the Black Swan of the Black Swan.
It’s an elegant, gothic ballerina who comes from old money and meticulously picks the most decadent dark chocolate dessert to eat after the ballet performance.
Iris Glacé is a dark gourmand that is unisex, slightly leaning feminine. I pick up dark cocoa, dark chocolate truffle, some nuttiness, resins, and soft powdery florals.
It truly smells like something from a private line from Dior, Chanel, or Guerlain. Actually, I think this is better than Dior’s private line.
**Performance:** Beast
**Longevity:** Beast (I take 3 showers a day, so I can’t say whether it lasts longer than 8 hours, but it definitely lasts at least 8 hours.)
**Sillage:** VERY Strong

I am truly impressed with Iris Glacé and Xyrcle! Probably the best American brand I’ve discovered this year, and I’ve discovered a bunch, BTW.
Ngl, I am not a floral girlie... Like, at all. When I first received Iris Glacé, I was just trying to broaden my horizons, and I was on the fence about how I felt about Iris as a note in general, even after giving her a full wear. Fast forward a few months later, and this girl has blossomed into the most beautiful, soft, smooth, silky, slightly sweet Iris fragrance that I absolutely LOVE!! She can be worn on her own or layered with Milked (another love) to enhance the creaminess. I have a fragrance on the way that is predominantly Cocoa but had a hint of Iris, and I cannot wait to layer her with Glacé!! Well done, sir. Another masterpiece... As usual.
Iris Glacé Is around great fragrance from Xyrcle. I’m not a huge fan of iris or gourmands, but somehow this one works for me. Powdery iris, cacao, and vanilla mixes so well with the vetiver, patchouli, cedar, and cardamom. Very elegant mixture that is completely unisex. Another one that can be worn year around.

A very warm, cozy scent, velvety cocoa and iris oil. It feels close to the body for now, but I'll let it rest for a while , I think it'll gain strength. The packaging is fantastic, and the gift samples are wonderful, thank you.
This perfume is an amazing, classic with a twist perfume. Very elegant, but with a chocolate twist. Very unique, i have nothing else like it in my collection. Truly a masterpiece.
